Directions, Parking, Public Transportation

Traveling I-95 North 

(From Delaware or Philadelphia International Airport & points south)

  • Exit #20 (Washington Ave), continue straight
  • Turn left at S Columbus Blvd.
  • Turn right toward Market St.
  • Turn left toward Market St
  • Turn right at Market St
  • Turn right onto N 3rd St.
  • You will see the Center on the right side of the street on the corner of 3rd and Quarry St.

Traveling I-95 South 

(From Northeast Philadelphia and Trenton)

  • Exit #22 (Central Philadelphia; Independence Hall; Callowhill St.)
  • Exit 22 is a two-lane exit on the left. As you exit, get into the right lane to follow Independence Hall/Callowhill St.
  • When coming off the ramp, keep to the left at the fork and merge onto N 2nd St.
  • Follow 2nd St and turn right onto Arch St.
  • Once on Arch St. take the 2nd right onto N 3rd St.
  • You will see the Center on the right side of the street on the corner of 3rd and Quarry St.

From New York or New Jersey (points north and east)

  • Take Exit 4 off the New Jersey Turnpike.
  • Follow 73 North to 38 West.
  • Then take 38 West to 30 West. WATCH CAREFULLY
  • Follow all signs that say CAMDEN/PHILADELPHIA to the BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE.
  • Go over the bridge and stay in the far right lane.
  • Take the 6th ST. SOUTH/INDEPENDENCE HALL Exit.
  • At this exit, go ALL THE WAY around to the right.
  • Keep staying as right as you possibly can, so that you are headed back parallel to the bridge.
  • This street dead-ends into 4th St.
  • Follow 4th St. down until you hit Market Street
  • Make a left onto Market St and go one block to 3rd St.
  • Turn left onto 3rd St.
  • You will see the Center on the right side of the street on the corner of 3rd and Quarry St.

From Western Suburbs (I-76 E)

  • Take Exit # 344, on your left, toward Central Philadelphia – Vine St. Expressway/I-676 E/US 30 E.
  • Turn right onto the exit for I-676 E/Ben Franklin Bridge. You will not be going over the bridge.
  • Turn right at the end of the ramp onto 6th Street.
  • Follow 6th St. down until you hit Market Street
  • Make a left onto Market St and go 3 blocks to 3rd St.
  • Turn left onto 3rd St.
  • You will see the Center on the right side of the street on the corner of 3rd and Quarry St.

Public Transportation/SEPTA

Take the Market-Frankford El to 2nd Street exit (2nd and Market Streets) walk over to 3rd Street. Alternatively, SEPTA buses # 33, 17, and 48 all stop at 3rd and Market.
